Jenn Jensen ~ Rogue Siren Sweets
Theatre Teaching Artist/Performer/Stage Combatant Jenn Jensen has been performing and teaching/directing in the cities and around the country for over a decade. Recent projects include It's an Honourable Life at the Mounds and Human Combat Chess. Jenn is also a member of Fearless Comedy Productions. Rogue Siren Sweets offers fresh, homemade baked goods and sweets for pickup or delivery within the Twin Cities metro. Seasonal and specialty offerings are available on a week to week basis, including cookies, bars, hot chocolate bombs, pies, and cakes/cupcakes, as well as options for a variety of dietary/allergen free needs (gluten free, dairy free, vegan, etc). Also happy to take requests/special orders.
Jennifer Slaats Laundrie ~ SaxyCakes
Pit musician ~ Reeds/Piano Jennifer Slaats Laundrie has 40 years of experience in musical theatre, both as a pit musician and rehearsal accompanist. Recent area credits: Lyric Arts (LEGALLY BLONDE), DalekoArts (SHE LOVES ME), and The Phipps (SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN). She also performed on the original soundtrack recording for MONSTER OF PHANTOM LAKE THE MUSICAL! Jennifer has a degree in music theory/composition from UW-Whitewater and plays lead tenor sax with Troppo Big Band Jazz Orchestra. More at jslwoodwinds.weebly.com. By day, Jennifer is a commercial account manager/analyst for Spectrum Insurance Group. I have been baking since middle school and I love baking for friends and family. My formal training is in music, and I’ve been playing in orchestra pits since the age of 15. I’ve enjoyed making cakes and cupcakes for my fellow performers and have missed that during the pandemic. No intricate decorations, just yummy cake with homemade buttercream.
